CalTeach/MAST Educators Club (CMEC) at UC Davis
Vision: The CalTeach/Math & Science Teaching (MAST) Program is a UC-wide program designed to recruit and support undergraduates interested in K-12 math and science teaching careers. The CalTeach/MAST Educators Club is a student organization, affiliated with CalTeach/MAST, that is committed to building an inclusive community of future STEM teachers.
Mission: This student organization’s mission is to serve and represent UC Davis’ future math and science educators, wherever they are in their career pursuit while embracing diversity and individuality. We strive to offer valuable teacher-related resources and support in navigating pathways to become a teacher, as well as provide opportunities to build professional and social networks and bonds. Additionally, we are focused on cultivating a welcoming space that promotes overall well-being, growth, and development.
