Math is FunDaMental

This hands-on course takes an inquiry-based approach to exploring the fundamental ideas of K–12 mathematics. Students will engage with math as a dynamic, interactive subject—experimenting, problem-solving, and discovering ways to make mathematics both comprehensible and fun. Designed for those interested in teaching or deepening their understanding of elementary mathematics, the course emphasizes creativity, exploration, and engagement. Fulfills the Fundamental Mathematics requirement for the UC Davis Multiple Subject Teacher Education Program.
